RETURNS:

What is your returns policy?

Unworn items may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt, subject to inspection.  We regret no returns of scented or kitchen goods, including any product that falls under the Home Scent, Body Product or Kitchen categories.

We will happily exchange or credit items that remain in saleable condition within 14 days of purchase.  Please note the item in question must be unworn and unused, in its original packaging.

 

SHIPPING:

Can I buy Silvan products if I’m not based in South Africa?

Absolutely!  We offer a variety of different courier options for international customers via UPS (for US customers), FedEx and DHL Express.  For international orders and delivery quotation, please contact us.

 What are your shipping terms?

We offer nationwide door-to-door delivery within South Africa in 2-5 working days.  Although delivery is often quicker than this, it largely depends on how busy we (and our couriers) are at the time.  If you wish to know more, see our shipping terms.

 Where can I find SILVAN products?

We stock a variety of outlets in Cape Town, the winelands, as well as the Garden Route.  Additionally, you can find our products in Johannesburg.  To find a stockist near you, feel free to contact us.

 Where are your products made?

We remain proudly South African and collaborate largely with local businesses in the development and manufacture of our products.  Only our silk scarves are printed overseas, though they are locally designed and sewn, and packaged in locally made boxes.  All products we stock online & at our outlets are produced by local small businesses, all of whom maintain their production locally.

 

GIFT WRAPPING & MESSAGING:

Can I include a personalized message?

Absolutely! During checkout, you’ll find a text box where you can leave your note. We will carefully hand write your message inside one of our beautiful A7 illustrated cards.

How will my gift be wrapped?

Your items will be elegantly presented in our gift wrap, ensuring they arrive looking beautiful and ready for the occasion.

Will the price be visible on the gift?

No, we ensure that no pricing information or invoices are included in the package when you select our gift wrapping service.

Can I send the gift directly to the recipient?

Yes, simply enter the recipient’s details in the shipping address at checkout, and we will deliver your wrapped gift straight to their door.

Is there a character limit for the hand-written note?

Our A7 cards are best suited for messages up to 250 characters (about 3–4 sentences) to ensure your note remains clear and easy to read.

Are you open to collaborations?

We are open to connecting with local businesses that share a passion for quality and doing things right!  If you’d like to connect with us, please send us an e-mail with details of your business and what you’d like to collaborate on.  For obvious reasons we need to be picky, as we only have so much energy to expend on collabs.

 How can I become a stockist of Silvan products?
