The Cape Fynbos design features a colourful array of vegetation, including some lesser-known (but equally beautiful) proteas. These are the waboom tree (protea nitida), white-bearded protea (protea neriifolia) and the Venus protea (protea aristata). Others fynbos featured include the bright orange watsonias, red/purple leucadendrons, blombos and the Cape heath flower (Erica).
